Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the great Clare Valley red varieties, suited
ideally to the region’s unique geographic and climatic conditions.This
synergy of region and variety delivers a rich and powerful style of cabernet
with retained freshness of fruit, which is exactly how Georges have chosen to
craft their expression of this much revered noble grape.
Colour: Dark and brooding
Aroma: Crushed black and blue berries with dark choc-mint in the
Palate: Serious, dark cabernet fruit flavours, aromatics to the rear,
with extraordinary density and concentration, mouth-filling textures
and, without impacting palate juiciness, mid-rich, persistent,
varietally typical tannins. A wine for immediate pleasure and
cellaring for 5-10 years.
